On July 24th to August 3th of 2009 Healing-Spirits along with a group of Healers, Educators, Teachers, Therapists, and Shamans will take you on a unique and life transforming alternative health and fitness retreat into the mysterious and mystical land of Peru. Your ten day/ eight-night healing journey in the ancient and mysterious land of Peru will be set amongst a breathtaking garden filled Retreat Guest House in the Sacred Valley of the Inka.

At the start of each day, rays of the morning sun stream into two magnificent yoga/ fitness studios where we will offer you a variety of classes such as Yoga, Tai Chi, Movement and Flow, Chakrasize, and Mixed Martial Arts. All the studios are built from earth materials, hardwood floors, natural solar heating & wonderful lighting. The surrounding gardens are filled with Andean medicinal plants, brilliant flowers and organically grown vegetables, all featured in our gourmet, strictly vegetarian meals.

There are seven sacred gardens for healing and meditation, indoor meditation rooms, solar-heated medicinal herbal baths, healing treatment rooms which we will offer massage, acupuncture,reflexology, integrated energy therapy, one on one shamanic healing sessions, and a crystal bed imported from Brazil by John of God.

Complementing your morning fitness practice of choice, this journey also offers you a spiritual and cultural adventure for the growth and transformation of your mind, body and spirit. Each day after your fitness practice and a relaxed buffet breakfast, you are invited to participate in a variety of workshop and lectures on an array of subjects such as eating for the season, chi gong, chakra balancing, shamanic meditation, herbology and walks through organic medicinal herb gardens.

We will also take you to visit some of the very Sacred Sites of Peru including the mystical wonder; Machu Picchu. At all times while on our excursions, we will travel with a guide that is very passionate about her work, who will spark your excitement as you come into contact with the traditions and spirituality of each ancient site.

Healing-Spirits invite you to step out of yourself and enter the cradle of a very unique culture and its spiritual traditions. You will be invited to participate in an authentic Andean Ceremonies led by local Shamans which are modern day representatives of an age-old tradition. You are also invited to participate in a sound healing ceremony while at Machu Picchu.

Program begins and ends with group Cusco airport transfers.

Cost includes all programs and meals indicated in this itinerary. All quality hotels, transport, specially selected guides, all entrance tickets except for second day in Machu Picchu unless it is included in your package, lectures and workshops with all teachers, therapists and authentic healers, a lunch in Cusco, dinner in Aguas Calientes, all breakfasts and all meals while at the Retreat Center Guest House. Spa in the Andes:

•Enjoy a full body massage with aromatherapy oils
•At night under the stars treat yourself to a solar bath filled with aromatic medicinal flowers from the gardens and mineral salts for purification
•A half-hour treatment on a crystal bed imported from the miracle healer John of God in Brazil is a wonderful offering to balance body and spirit or compliment an energy therapy session.

GUESTS PLEASE NOTE: The providers of the above services need to be paid in cash in US dollars (untorn bills). Peru is a cash country. Providers cannot accept credit cards.

Hikes: There are many unspoiled hikes and trails in this area. Your guide will be happy to lead hikers along country trails where you will see everyday Andean life.

River rafting: In the nearby Urubamba River. The cost of this four-hour outing is $50 per person and includes lunch. You will be picked up and returned by the rafting company.

Horse riding: Nearby stables offer guided rides on local trails. The cost is approximately $25 per hour.

Professional outfitters also offer mountain bike riding.
